Mountain Man Electrical was created by Benjamin, one of our qualified electricians, in Townsville in 2018. Benjamin began with a passion for growing a business in North Queensland; he brought a wide range of skills in commercial, new-builds and residential electrical work. Over the last 5 years he has sought out self-motivated and well-trained electricians to join the crew.

Today, the Mountain Man Electrical team strives to be the first choice in the industry for Townsville homeowners!

Where did you get the name Mountain Man Electrical?

It’s not uncommon for Townsville locals to enquire about how we got our name. The answer is anticlimactic…

When Benjamin was first looking for a name, all the obvious choices were taken. He cast his eye out the window toward Mount Elliot National Park in the distance and recalled a television character from his youth.

“How about Mountain Man Electrical?” he asked a table full of family and friends.

“Why not?” they replied.

And with the same swiftness with which he and the rest of the licensed electricians apply to their work today, he filled out the ABN details with this name. And we’ve not heard the end of it since!

Electrical products deteriorate quickly in our heat and humidity, which is why we believe it is important to install those with the best warranty available. Most of the electrical parts in our switchboard upgrade come with a lifetime warranty of 25 years, our LED oyster lights, LED high bay shed lights, LED downlights and switches all come with a 7 year warranty. Our service includes the removal and replacement of any of these parts that have faults within the warranty period. Our regular clientele can call on us if a product fails within the warranty period and we will handle the warranty and replacement process for you.
